Deshmukh Precision Works
A small fabrication shop was carrying near-duplicate hardware from four different suppliers with slightly different specs. Consolidating onto one compatible SKU family simplified their inventory and cut per-unit cost through volume pricing.

Deshmukh had accumulated four suppliers' worth of similar-but-not-identical fasteners over several years, none of them interchangeable, making inventory counts error-prone and preventing them from hitting any single supplier's volume pricing tiers.
We mapped Deshmukh's existing part numbers against our catalog to find drop-in equivalents, confirmed tolerance compatibility with their assembly drawings, and proposed a phased transition — new orders on the consolidated SKUs, existing stock run down naturally rather than scrapped.
Deshmukh now carries roughly 60% fewer distinct SKUs for the same functional coverage, qualifies for our second pricing tier on combined volume, and reports meaningfully faster physical stock counts.
